Economy (Business, Science, and Technology) Mountain
We are focusing on science and technology this week. As our culture and cultures around the world continue to advance, we will continue to see things we never thought possible, come to be. Science and technology are growing at lightning speed. We are made in His image! We create because He is the Creator. Jesus himself, in the Greek language, is called a tekton, a carpenter. The word tekton is a Greek word that we get technology from.
We serve the God of provision, Jehovah Jireh. He delights in providing for us. He delights in revealing His mysteries and wonders to us.
Let’s spend time praising the Lord for His provisions.
Thank the Lord that we don’t have to wear ourselves out to get rich. He is more than enough.
Thank you, Lord, for your faithful servants who are already impacting this mountain for your Kingdom.
Thank you for establishing your Kingdom in the area of science and technology as it is in Heaven.
As we push into this area with intercession, we want to see the rulers, the authorities, the world powers of this darkness, and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens displaced.
The major spiritual influencers on the Economy Mountain are greed and poverty. They work with the principality Mammon and Babylon to influence this mountain. Mammon, an excessive desire for money and wealth, wrestles for God’s seat in our life. Babylon means confusion by mixing.
Luke 16:13 (NKJV) No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Revelation 18:1-3 (HCSB) After this I saw another angel with great authority coming down from heaven, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. He cried in a mighty voice: It has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen! She has become a dwelling for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, and a haunt for every unclean and despicable beast. For all the nations have drunk the wine of her sexual immorality, which brings wrath. The kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown wealthy from her excessive luxury.
Revelation 18: 4-6 (HCSB) Then I heard another voice from heaven: Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins, or receive any of her plagues. For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes. Pay her back the way she also paid, and double it according to her works. In the cup in which she mixed, mix a double portion for her.
Pray for the Lord to reveal in our personal life where we have come into agreement with a spirit of greed, Mammon, and Babylon.
Lord, we repent for believing these lies. Help us to trust in you alone for you are Jehovah Jireh, our provider.
We break the stronghold of greed, Mammon, and Babylon off of our life now in Jesus’ name.
We can take back influence in this sphere by passionately desiring the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12). These gifts will unlock the wisdom, creativity, and understanding we need to make this shift happen.
Pray that we will begin to operate in these gifts in our everyday lives.
Pray that the Lord will reveal His glory or riches in this world to every believer in this sphere of influence (Scientists, medicine, technology, etc.). His glory in all the earth is waiting to be discovered and prophetically called out of obscurity. Isaiah 6 (HCSB) And one called to another: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts; His glory fills the whole earth.
Pray for a prophetic renewal to be released across the earth.
Pray that the voice of the Lord will be what people in this sphere seek above all else.
We also want to pray against corruption that has infiltrated the science and technology sphere of influence.
Pray for wisdom and truth to arise in our government and for all corruption to be exposed and removed.
Pray for revival to come to Silicon Valley. Lord, send Spirit-filled believers into this region to share your love and to establish your Kingdom there.
Pray for the leaders of DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) and those they collaborate with.
