Has your river run dry? | Week 1 | Greener Series

The Grass is Greener.... because it is watered from within.

The relationship between us and HOLY SPIRIT THE PERSON and what can separate us from having this relationship.

That separation is always caused by sin!

Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground. Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed. Out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 10 Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers.11 The name of the first is Pishon; it flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 The gold of that land is good; the bdellium and the onyx stone are there. 13 The name of the second river is Gihon; it flows around the whole land of Cush. 14 The name of the third river is Tigris; it flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

Genesis 2:5-14

Today we are going to talk about the first river. The River Pishon!

Do you know what The river Pishon - the word means.. great outpouring; fully flourishing. fully flowing..perfect substantiality; carried to its highest degree

5 Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.6 But a mist(whole lot with a little) used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground.

Genesis 2:5-6

Do you know that you can walk with God all this time and still miss out on the fullness of who He is.

If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”Philip *said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus *said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

John 14:7-9

Has your river run dry?! OR Don’t let your river run dry! Just because its running dry it doesn’t mean its dead.

12 Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I am going to the Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

John 14:12-14

HE MOLDED YOU

Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Genesis 2:7

The Lord breaths His Spirit into\within you!

37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, [h]let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being (from within) will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

John 7:37-39

How would you describe your current relationship with Holy Spirit?

The Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed. Out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:8-9

27 “But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who are abusive to you. 29 Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic from him either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back. 31 Treat people the same way you want them to treat you.

Luke 6:27-31

What if we surrendered our thoughts and actions to the Holy Spirit ?

8 But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. 9With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; 10f rom the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way. 11 Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a vine produce figs? Nor can salt water produce fresh.

James 3:8-12

10 Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers.11 The name of the first is Pishon; it flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 The gold of that land is good; the bdellium and the onyx stone are there.

Genesis 2:10-12

Words of Knowledge

  • We believe the Lord is healing sharp neck pains.

  • We believe the Lord is healing people who have been experiencing brain fog.

  • We believe there is someone who needs to hear that the Lord is near, He is a “Close to Me” God.

  • To those who have been feeling anxious, we heard the Lord say peace for you is found in Him.

  • We believe there is someone with a mother-in-law issue involving anger and misunderstanding; the Lord is restoring that relationship.
