A Year to Advance
We are asking God for clear direction this year. As we continue fasting, let’s join together to ask the Lord for a strategy on how to advance His Kingdom in our circles of influence.
A declaration for The Crossing Church from a prophetic word given at Noon Prayer on January 4th, 2023:
A new anointing of freedom has been released over us at The Crossing. Freedom to worship, freedom to pray, freedom to pursue the Lord unfettered, and freedom for us to become who He designed us to be. As people walk onto our campuses, the chains the enemy has wrapped around them will fall at their feet. We will be known for the anointing of freedom that flows from here. Freedom reigns in this place. Deliverances are made easy here and transformed lives are a hallmark of what the Lord is doing at The Crossing. Obstacles are being supernaturally removed from the advancement of the Kingdom through us. Advancement for The Crossing has been held up, but it was released on January 4, 2023. We are advancing the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in heaven.
We have entered a new season, a new day at The Crossing!
Isaiah 43:19 (HCSB)
19 Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.
Praise the Lord for every victory we have seen concerning the seven mountains of influence.
Make a list of all the victories you witnessed personally in 2022. Use this list to offer praise to the Lord.
Praise Him in advance for everything we are trusting Him for this year. (Mark 11:24)
Lord, what is my role this year? We lay our life down before you Lord.
We are coming into agreement with the strategy of the Lord for taking these mountains. What role does He have for us in recapturing these mountains or mountain to which we are called? For some of us, the role is one of support, like the logistics and support units in the military. Others of us are to pursue a path up the mountain.

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
God commands His people (The Crossing Church) to go out into the world and share the good news, occupy the land and live out our faith, influencing the world around us as we do so.
Some examples of things we can do to have greater influence in these areas of our culture:
Government:
Being Salt on the Mountain of Government includes running for office, supporting righteous leaders, volunteering to help during elections, helping organizations who are standing for Godly principles, signing petitions, and more. Praying for our leaders at a local, state, national, and global level.
Education:
Being Salt means getting involved! Go to school board meetings, talk to teachers, and challenge what's being taught in schools. Students can get involved in Christian clubs or start one. Vote for school board members that have Biblical values and who will lead by these standards.
Family:
Being Salt on the Mountain of Family can include bringing back prayer and Bible reading at your dinner table, or stepping into areas like healthcare where you can covertly and overtly minister to the poor and needy. Healthcare, psychology, coaching, and caring for the poor and orphans are all part of this mountain.
Entertainment & Media:
Being Salt on the Mountain of Entertainment & Media involves boldness to create content that may be unpopular to the general public - but watch as Holy Spirit blows on works and people become attracted to God's goodness! Pursue working with media companies, and entrepreneurial start-ups in journalism, creating content that is informative and honest. Intentionally post and share positive, hopeful, and Christ-focused material every day on your social media sites. Refuse to follow accounts that post things contrary to God’s Word.
Business & Economy:
Being Salt on this mountain includes opening up, supporting, or influencing businesses for the Kingdom of God. You could devote time to learning about financial freedom or commit to the 90-day tithe challenge. You could help disciple someone in financial freedom.
Religion:
Being Salt on the Mountain of Religion includes getting connected to the church through life groups, serving, tithes, offerings, and prayer. This includes getting equipped and trained in the Word daily and applying it to our lives. This also includes praying for Israel.
Science & Technology:
Being Salt on the Mountain of Science and Technology involves seeking a career in one of these fields, and staying up to date with all that is happening in these fields in order to pray specific prayers. Also, paying attention to legislation that is being written that impacts this area of influence in order to pray specific prayers and vote with wisdom and understanding.
