Revelation of Grace
47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Luke 7:47
-Those who understand the weight of their sins and the weight of His forgiveness get to walk in His grace. We cannot earn His love and we cannot stop it. We receive what He has given.
Prayer points:
-Our church family would understand and walk in the power of grace given to us by Jesus
-That Grace would equip and empower us to walk away from the "sins that so easily entangle us" as Hebrews 12 states.
Education Mountain of Influence: (Today is the first day of school for Hillsborough County)
This area of influence in our culture has been deeply influenced by humanism and naturalism. Both of these deny the need for and the existence of God. Paul addresses these philosophies also. 1 Corinthians 1:19-25
*When we pray, ask that more Christian teachers will enter the classrooms and be bold in their faith.
*Pray that Christian parents will stand in love against evil curricula and be a voice that can influence this mountain.
*We are asking that the Lord download creative ways to help our schools and to be able to share His love with teachers and staff.
*Pray for a shift in thinking within educational institutions that aligns with the Word of God.
*We are asking that God will call believers to be principals, administrators and school board members. Also, that these high-level leaders would seek Godly council and spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:8-10)
*Pray that prayer and righteousness will once again reign in our classrooms.
Ways to actively get involved in influencing this mountain:
*Hillsborough County is home to over 300 schools and over 200,000 students. Please partner with us in choosing at least three different schools to intercede for on a weekly basis. Together, we can change the atmosphere and direction of this entire district.
*Go to the Hillsborough County Public School website and read the agenda for every board meeting and attend the ones that you can attend.
*Vote for new board members that will support Biblical views in the next election
Prophetic declarations for the schools that you commit to interceding for:
Heavenly Father, through the power of the blood of Christ, by the Spirit of Truth and Grace, by the authority vested in me as a believer, and through the finished work of the Cross, I command, and declare:
1. (insert name of school) may have forsaken You, but it will return and become a fountain of living water. (Jeremiah 2:13.)
2. Jesus, You told us to ask You for laborers to go into the harvest, so we ask that You send Godly men and women to (insert name of school) to work here. Send professors, students, chaplains, administrators, board members, and students, who know You and who will proclaim Your Name at (insert name of school) and who will lift up a standard of righteousness (Matthew 9:38.)
3. I thank God for (insert name of school) because of His grace given them in Christ Jesus. For in Him this school has been enriched in every way—in all speaking and knowledge (1Corinthians 1:4–5.)
4. I declare that there will be a demonstration of the Spirit’s power at (insert name of school), so that its faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power. (1 Corinthians 2:4–5.)
5. The ungodly will not flourish at (insert name of school). (Psalm 1:4–6.)
6. Jesus, I declare that Your light and Your truth will guide all those at (insert name of school), Your light will bring them to You and to the place where You dwell. (Psalm 43:3.)
7. I lift up the Name of Jesus over (insert name of school). Your Word says that if His Name is lifted up, He will draw all men to Himself. (John 12:32.)
8. The foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength; therefore, I declare that the wisdom of Jesus has come to (insert name of school) and He will be to you righteousness, holiness, and redemption. (1 Corinthians 1:25.)
9. I declare that all those at (insert name of school) will be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that (insert name of school) may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:2–3.)
10. I declare that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give to (insert name of school) the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that everyone that is connected to (insert name of school) may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of every person’s heart may be enlightened in order that they may know the hope to which He has called them, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for those who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way. (Ephesians 1:17–23.)
