Noon Prayer 2.15.2023

Sheep Gate

This gate represents salvation through Jesus’ death on the cross.

John 10:7-9 (NIV)

7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

Pray for revival to come to Tampa Bay.

The Hebrew word for revive is chayah, which means to live, have life, remain alive, sustain life, nourish and preserve life, live prosperously, live forever, be quickened, be alive, be restored to life and health. Revival begins when people turn to God. It breaks forth from intercessory prayer and continues when people repent and no longer tolerate sin in their lives.

  • Pray for revival to begin in ourselves first.

  • Pray that we will plant seeds of revival everywhere we go. (2 Timothy 4:5 (HCSB) But as for you, keep a clear head about everything, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.)

  • Pray for an outpouring of Holy Spirit in this region.

Pray for our young adults. The Lord is pouring fresh oil on this generation to fan into flames the fire of the Holy Spirit across America.

Joel 2:28 (HCSB) 28 After this I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions.

  • Pray for this fresh fire and anointing to come upon our young adults.

  • Pray for a new love for His Word.

  • Pray for courage and boldness.

  • Declare Joel 2:28 over our young adults.

Pray for our lost family members, friends, co-workers, and neighbors:

1Timothy 2:1-4 (HCSB)

1 First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, 2 for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

  • Pray for the redemption of unsaved loved ones.  Bring them closer to you. Let them know of your love and your mercies. Let the Holy Spirit convict them that they may repent and follow your ways.

  • Pray that their spiritual eyes and ears will open to see and hear what the Lord is doing and saying.

  • Pray that the Lord will draw them to Himself. (John 6:44 (HCSB) No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up on the last day.)

  • Pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal to us how to minister to those we know who are lost. Help us Lord to be kind and compassionate, for it is your kindness that draws people to repentance.

  • Pray that we will not grow weary in praying for the lost. Lord, help us to be like the widow in Luke 18 who refused to give up asking. We need perseverance.

  • We pray with confidence, knowing that the Lord hears our prayers.

Pray for the Tampa Bay region:

  • Pray that this community will see the goodness of God in our daily lives and because of this the lost will be drawn to Him.

  • Pray for us and every other ministry in this region to be reignited with a burden for the lost.

  • Pray for boldness to go out and share His love, loose us of any and all fear. Prepare the hearts of everyone we will encounter. Holy Spirit we pray that you will lead us and we will obey.

  • Pray for opportunities to minister to the lost. Lord, help us to recognize these opportunities in our day-to-day lives.

  • We declare that nothing and no one will stop what you are doing in us and our city!
