The Courts of Heaven

 Hosea 4:6 NKJV
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.”

Book: Operating in the courts of Heaven

 Revelation 12:10 HCSB
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Messiah have now come, because the accuser of our brothers has been thrown out: the one who accuses them before our God day and night.”

There are three heavens

 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 NIV
“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.”

1.   Third heaven (the place of Gods authority)

 Deuteronomy 10:14 NIV
“To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.”

2.  Second heaven ( place of Satanic authority)

Daniel 10:13-21 picture of angels fighting in the heavens to get an answer to Daniel

Revelation 12:7-9 NIV
“Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.”

3.   First heaven (place of men’s authority)

Genesis 1:28 NKJV
“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.””

Psalms 8:4-6 NKJV
“What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,”

 II Peter 1:3 NKJV
“as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,”

The courts of Heaven

Psalm 82:1 NIV
God presides in the great assembly; he renders judgment among the “gods”:”

The accuser

 Revelation 12:10 HCSB
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Messiah have now come, because the accuser of our brothers has been thrown out: the one who accuses them before our God day and night.”

Our advocate

 1 John 2:1 NIV
“My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.”

Get an audience with the lord

Psalms 100:4 NKJV
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”

Present your case

 Philippians 4:6 NKJV
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”

1.   Repentance

a.   Individual

 Acts 3:19 NIV
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,”

b.   For your ancestors

 Exodus 20:5-6 NIV
“You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.”

2.   Remind him of His word

 Isaiah 43:25-26 NKJV
““I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins. Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.”

3.   Present the ruling that you are asking for

 Revelation 12:11 NIV
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”

 4.   Speak to the earthly situations

 Mark 11:23-24 NKJV
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
