His Words to Us - Part 3
1. Align your Prayers – Marriage/Finances/Children/Eat
1 John 5:14-15 (NIV) 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of him.
1 Corinthians 9:27 (ASV) 27 but I “buffet” my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.
2. Face your Fears
Hebrews 3:16-19 (NIV) 16 Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert? 18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.
Believing that you are a son, who has a Father that is near, sets you free!
John 1:12-13 (NIV) 12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-- 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
Believe today that he loves you…1 John 1:18 Perfect love drives out fear
Believe today that he is healing you…Isaiah 53:5 by his stripes your healed
Believe today that he is delivering you…2 Kings 6:16 those who are for you are more than those who are against you
Deuteronomy 31:6 - “Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.”
Joshua 1:9 – “Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. ”Joshua 1:18 - “Only be strong, vigorous, and of good courage.”
2. Take your Stand in the Spirit
God’s spoken Word is to the devil! Don’t succumb to the devil and his accusations…take your stand!
Ephesians 6:10-20 (NIV) 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
Matthew 16:18 (NIV) 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
