God Wants Disciples | Week 2 | What Does God Want Series

Jesus told us to make disciples not converts.

The Great Commission

18 Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20 HCSB

We are supposed to be a disciple and have disciples.

1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:1 NKJV

Disciple: someone who follows Jesus, is changed by Jesus, and is committed to the Great Commission.

Disciple maker: someone who enters into a relationship to help people follow Jesus.

Declaration of the day: I am a Disciple Maker.
