Mountain of Arts/Celebration

Lord, let your kingdom come and your will be done here, on this Mountain of Arts and Entertainment, as it is in heaven.

This sphere of society includes actors, writers, producers, managers, singers, instrumental musicians, dancers, athletes, coaches, referees, photographers, graphic artists, gaming professionals, cartoonists, artists in all types of mediums, and individuals who work in various support roles in these fields.

God is introduced in Genesis 1 as Creator; His essence is creative. The messages most often sent via these outlets are influenced by perversion (a misinterpretation of; to lead into a less excellent state) and counterfeit (made as an imitation with intent to deceive). The enemy works to provide a perversion and counterfeit of the Lord’s creativity. The principality on this mountain of influence is Jezebel.

· Pray for the world to see the expression of the creativity of God in all the art forms, from music to films, from television to books, from plays to fashion, to all forms of celebration in the Arts.

· Pray for our youth to begin to see and hear with spiritual eyes and ears, so that they will not be drawn to the ways of the world. The influences that govern this mountain focus on corrupting the destiny of our youth. This mountain is of great concern and interest to young people and they spend hours being influenced by it.

· Pray that Biblical truth will reign and rule in this area of influence.

· Pray that God’s children in the arena of Arts and Entertainment would create work that causes the peace of God to arise within men and women, and that this resulting peace will pass human understanding— a peace that keeps hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

· Pray that the work of believing artists will cause viewing audiences to focus on whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report, and that if there be any virtue or any praise, audiences will be led to think on these things (Philippians 4:3–13).

· Pray that our music, movies, books, dance, and art will begin to prophesy heaven here on earth.

· Pray for the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” Hollywood to become famous for the presence of God. Pray for the governing officials of Los Angeles, CA to become followers of Christ who want to see the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.
