Noon Prayer 06.22.22
1.) Still, Small, Voice - Are we responding to the invitation of the Lord?
11 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire [a]a still small voice.
13 So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
1 Kings 19:11-13 NKJV
Prayer Point: Father, Forgive us of the moments we dismissed your invitation into an intimate moment with you. Invite us once again.
2.) Religion Mountain::
Prioritize The Presence (The Bread of Life)
Our response to The LORD Shifts our hearts desire.
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. 7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Psalms 37:4-7 NKJV
35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
John 6:35 NKJV
4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
Mathew 4:4 NKJV
Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:11 NKJV
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47 NKJV
Prayer Point: Father, Give us a passion for your presence. Draw us to your Word. Let us be people that cannot live one Day without your word. Show us if we have adapted to malnourishment and are just surviving. Show us what life is like when we are full of your Word.
Pray that God will teach us these old paths; that we will have a hunger to seek out the old ways through the Word and prayer.
Pray for a restoration of the old paths in our lives which include, but are not limited to: faith, fasting, forgiveness, baptism of the Holy Spirit, Gifts of the Spirit, hunger for God’s word, prayer, obedience to God’s word, and freedom from demonic oppression.
3.) Entertainment Mountain: The works of the flesh are gloried in our culture through media.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [a]adultery, [b]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, [c]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19-21
Prayer Point: Mountains
Expose the words of the enemy and encourage and equip men and women who are influencing this mountain.
Help the things that the media promotes be of your word as it says in The fruit of the Spirit:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Phillipians 4:8 NKJV
