We are called to do Greater Things

2 The Lord answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so one may easily read it. 3 For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it testifies about the end and will not lie. Though it delays, wait for it,
since it will certainly come and not be late. 4 Look, his ego is inflated; he is without integrity. But the righteous one will live by his faith.

Vision: To do Greather Things!

19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way.

Restoration

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
    we were like those who dream.
2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
    and our tongue with shouts of joy;
then they said among the nations,
    “The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us;
    we are glad.

4 Restore our fortunes, O Lord,
    like streams in the Negeb!
5 Those who sow in tears
    shall reap with shouts of joy!
6 He who goes out weeping,
    bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,
    bringing his sheaves with him.

Forget about the regrets and heartaches
Forget about the failings and the fallings
Forget about the missed opportunities and the death of a thousand dreams
Forget about the many loves that have been lost

There is a greater love present now, the Lord is in our midst
He is calling us higher than we’ve ever been before,
higher than we can imagine
To do more and to see more than we’ve ever dreamed

It’s a new day, and its declaration is the restoration of all things lost
The Lord has restored the fortunes of the Land,
and created streams of living water where there was only a desert
His promised land is burdened with the weight of new God-sized dreams
Dreams full of laughter and joy and songs filled with faith
Amazed at the glory of God
