Noon Prayer - March 30, 2022
Time of Prayer for Unbelievers/Easter Service!
Over these next few weeks, leading up to Easter Services, we want to unite together at the sheep gate and fish gate to pray for the salvation of the lost; for opportunities to reach the lost; and to see them come to Christ during our Easter services. 1) Prayers for protection before engaging in intercession.
“The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.” Psalms 34:7
We first ask for protection for ourselves and our families before we engage in intercession and prayer for others. (Psalm 91, Psalms 34:7, Isaiah 54:17)
2) Prayers to remove the veil from unbelievers
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
Acts 26:18 New King James Version (NKJV)
18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
There is a veil/covering over the minds of unbelievers which prevents them from clearly seeing the light of the gospel.
Prayer Points:-
· We pray in Jesus’ Name that the veil be removed.
· We pray that You Lord will tear down all deception.
· We ask You Lord to pull down all wrong belief systems that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God. i.e., “There are many ways to God.” “I am good person, so I will go to heaven.”
· We pray that a true image of Jesus will be seen and known.
· We ask you God to open the eyes of unbelievers. We call them out by name, we pray for enlightenment, unveiling, revelation, repentance to take place in the life of (name specific unbelievers)
3) Prayers to tear down the stronghold of pride.
Psalm 10:4 New King James Version (NKJV)
The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts
Prayer Points:-
· Pride is causing unbelievers to not seek You. We are asking You to tear down the stronghold of pride in unbelievers that prevents them from seeing the light of the gospel.
· Holy Spirit, we ask You to demolish the pride in unbelievers that exalts itself against the Kingdom of God.
· We pray they will truly see how much they need You.
4) Prayers for all of Satan’s strategies and schemes to fail.
2 Corinthians 2:11 New King James Version (NKJV)
11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices
We need to pray against every thought, scheme, or plan of Satan’s that would keep a person from submitting to Christ.
Prayer Points:-
· Sin can appear pleasurable for a season. We need to pray that it will no longer be pleasurable; that the unsaved will no longer find fun and enjoyment in sin.
· Pray that God will intervene in unhealthy relationships.
· Pray that every thought Satan has planted in the minds of unbelievers be removed.
· Pray that every scheme and strategy of the enemy, for unbelievers, come to nothing in Jesus’ Name.
5) Prayers for Holy Spirit to hover over unbelievers with His power and love to convict them and believers of sin
Genesis 1:2-3
2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light
John 16:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Prayer Points:-
· We ask you God to hover over unbelievers, specifically (name unbeliever)
· We ask that as the Holy Spirit hovers over the unsaved; that He would break the strongholds - all beliefs, the root of pride, demonic thoughts, and strategies. Also, that He would release revelation that would cause them to believe in Christ.
· We pray that Holy Spirit will convict unbelievers and believers of sin.
· We pray for a release of dreams and visions in their life.
· We pray for an outpouring of the love of God.
6) Prayers for laborers to be sent to unbelievers
Matthew 9:37-38
“37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Prayer Points:-
· God begin with me. Give me favor and the right words to say when I invite unsaved family members, friends, neighbors.
· We pray for boldness to share the gospel.
· We pray for open doors to engage in conversations with the lost and invite them to Easter Service
· We ask You God to send out laborers to every part of Tampa to reach to lost.
Acts 2:47 New King James Version (NKJV)
47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added [a]to the church daily those who were being saved.
We decree and declare that God will add to the Crossing Church daily those who are being saved.
7) Prayers for the Campuses (Tampa, Southshore, & Plant City)
· Plead of the blood of Christ over every Campus
· We are praying for a fire wall of protection over every Campus
· We pray for God’s angelic force to invade the atmosphere of every Campus
· We pray for an open heaven over every Campus.
· We bind all plans and schemes of the enemy. We decree and declare “no weapon formed against us will prosper.”
Decree and declare in accordance with 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
We are praying for a release of freedom that sets people free from any bondage, stronghold, or addiction in their lives.
8) Prayers for Pastor Greg and Pastor Tamara and Family
· Prayers of protection, over our Pastor and Family. Use the following bible passages as a guide: Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7, Isaiah 54:17
· The Spirit of the Lord God is upon our Pastor. We pray that the Lord would anoint him, to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent our Pastor to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound (Isaiah 61:1)
· We pray that signs and wonders will accompany the preaching of the word.
· We pray that You will strengthen and refresh our Pastors.
· We pray that Your angels will encamp around Pastor Greg as he preaches Your word.
· We bind all distraction and the spirit of confusion. We pray for focus, discernment, and for the leading of God’s Spirit.
9) Prayers for Pastoral Team, Staff, Servant leaders,
· Prayers of protection. You can use the following bible verses as a guide to pray over the teams: Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7 Isaiah 54:17
· Pray that there would be neither divisions nor factions within our body and in humility we would be united in Christ. (Psalm 133:1)
· We pray for strength and refreshing for all.
· We bind all spirit of infirmity. We pray for health for our teams. We pray protection for the worship team’s vocal cords.
· We pray that God will send His angels to guard over the media, online streaming, and broadcast connections with our Southshore and Plant City Campuses.
· Let’s pray in accordance with Colossians 4:5-6 for all our Pastors, staff, and servant leaders.
5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
10) Prayers for the Pastors in this Region
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
· Pray that God provides prayer, encouragement, and resources to under-gird their work spiritually and financially.
· Pray for their protection, strength, and refreshing.
· Pray for boldness and courage to preach the word as God has shown them and that many signs and wonders accompany the word.
· We are praying for a great harvest of souls in every church across this region. We pray for wisdom for how to disciple and care for those You send.
11) Prayers for Resurrection Power (Romans 8:11, John 11:25)
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11
· We pray for resurrection power over those areas of our life that appear dead/barren.
· Jesus didn’t stay in the grave but was raised from the dead by our Father. So, we decree and declare resurrection power over every dead area of our life.
· We take authority over the spirit of death, and we bind the spirit of death in operation over our (be specific)
· We ask for Your resurrection power to come upon our mortal bodies. (Lay hands on the part of the body you are experiencing infirmity, pain, disease)
· Father God, we ask for Your resurrection power that will quicken our mortal bodies, that will heal, and set us free in Jesus’ Name.
· We ask for Your resurrection power to come upon every barren womb in Jesus’ Name,
· We ask for Your resurrection power over marriages in Jesus’ Name
· We ask for Your resurrection power over businesses in Jesus’ Name.
· We ask for Your resurrection power over (be specific) in Jesus’ Name.
