Soul Food

The problem : we have trained ourselves to desire certain things because it is what we constantly consume.

Fact: what ever we constantly feed ourselves we begin to hunger for and that appetite drives us to what more of what we have been feeding ourselves.

Prov 16:26 (NIV)
The laborer's appetite works for him; his hunger drives him on.

Goal : Teach us how to prosper and be in health

3 John 2-3 9 (NKJV)
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Question : What are you feeding your soul?

Gal 5:19-22 (NIV)
Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar, about which I tell you in advance—as I told you before—that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
