Fast Day 10

Mark 11:23 (NKJV)

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

We often underestimate the power of speaking out loud against our enemies, mountains, and obstacles that lie between us and God’s best for our lives. Jesus was very clear that the release-point of power is when we “speak to it.” It’s not enough to simply meditate on the word, we need to take the word and use it to speak to our mountains!

In Genesis 1, when God created the heavens and the earth, God spoke things into existence “Let there be…” There is great power in your words. Don’t allow the enemy to subdue your praise or silence your declarations. Rise up and speak to your mountains!

Prayer Focus

• Identify and name the mountains, trials, or oppositions in your life.

• Find verses in the Word that deal with your mountain.

• Speak those verses out loud, letting faith fill your heart as you declare the Word, then speak to it!
