The Crossing Church is a place where we encourage our members and attendees to use their gifts, talents and abilities to increase the Kingdom of God and bring glory to His name. Within the Redemptive Arts Department, there are many ways in which our people can serve and grow in their giftedness.
Our Purpose
Our calling and purpose as a team is to dwell in the presence of God through worship, not only during our weekend services, but in our everyday lives. It is what we were created to do. Whether we are leading worship on stage, running sound, programming lights, or editing videos, our ultimate goal and focus is to bring honor to the Lord, and it is truly a privilege to usher our people into the awesome presence of God. We consider our responsibilities throughout the entire week, whether it be on stage or behind the scenes, to be our sacrifice of praise. We trust that through our worship, people would be drawn into a more intimate, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
What Does the Worship Arts Team Do?
The Worship Arts Team is responsible for the development and implementation of the creative and technical elements that are a part of the worship services. Whether in media and technical production, performing arts or music, we find creative ways to express the timeless truths of God’s Word that teach, touch and transform lives.
