The Media Department
has the unique responsibility of helping to create an environment in
which heartfelt and genuine worship can thrive. There are many ways to
serve within this ministry. Our technical arts positions are as follows:
Video Producer- Help produce original videos for use during
services as well as other events at the Crossing. Opportunities are
available for directors, editors, videographers and production
assistants.
Video Directors- Our video directors “call the
shots”…communicating with the camera operators and switching between
the cameras during the services and events.
Camera Operators- This team captures all the action of our
services for projection onto the screens, on the TV monitors, web
casting and video production. Members of the team follow the cues
called by the video director as they operate the cameras.
Audio- As a part of the production team, the Audio Team
provides the live sound reinforcement for all services and church-wide
functions. This team sets up and maintains the sound equipment and live
audio, and is responsible for running all aspects of sound including
Front of House, Monitors (In-Ears), and Broadcast.
Set Design- As a team, we aim to provide visual enhancement
to church services and events through the use of set design, and
various decorations throughout the main auditorium.
Lighting- This team provides all the lighting to visually
enhance and reinforce the elements that occur on stage and within the
main auditorium. This team aims, programs and runs the lights for all
our services and special events.
Stage Manager- The Stage Manager serves as the liaison between
the production team and those who serve on stage for each service or
special event.
