2) Missions - Across the Street to Around the World

There are many ministries The Crossing Church partners with to serve God's people.  It’s our vision the incredible news of the Gospel will spread from this place like a raging wildfire, igniting hearts and minds for God, and changing lives forever for Him. To accomplish this, we are active across the street and around the world in meeting needs and spreading His message and the amazing story of His love for us. Acts 1:8 sets the structure for our missions team.

How and when do I get connected to serving?

You can start your volunteer journey today.  The 3 steps to become a volunteer within The Crossing Church are:

1)  Choose a place to serve

There are hundreds of positions to serve through The Crossing Church and several ways to help you make that decision.

    a)    read about each ministry by clicking the links above

    b)    browse statements that may help you narrow your area of service - see bottom page

2)  Complete a Volunteer Application

It it is required that all volunteers serving with children, youth, finances, First Responders, or international missions complete an application and background check prior to serving within The Crossing Church.  Applications are available at the Information Center in our lobby or at the bottom or top of this webpage.  Please return your completed application and a copy of your driver’s license (we can make a copy if needed) to the Information Center IN BETWEEN services on Saturday and Sunday (not before or after) to a Crossing Church staff memer.  The timeframe for a background check is typically 1 week.  Once your background has been approved, your information will be forwarded to the ministry(s) you chose to be in contact with you.

3) Email Us

Email Scott McIntosh at smcintosh@crossingonline.org  to get connected to a specific ministry to serve.

4) Attend Orientation/Training

In order to prepare you for the specific service God has called you to, each ministry does their own observation and  training.  You will be contacted by the ministry (or ministries) of your choice to arrange for the preparation of your serving experience.

Help! Where should I serve?

Simply mark the statements that are true to you and then determine from the serving times what you would be interested in pursuing. The following questionnaire does not take into consideration, your personality, spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, and life experiences which will be discovered and interpreted at Mile 1.  Once you have narrowed down where you would like to serve, please complete a volunteer application and turn it in at The Information Center IN BETWEEN services on Saturday or Sunday to a Crossing Church staff member.
