Russ Jones, originally from Eastern North Carolina, joined the Crossing Church as Pastor of Redemptive Arts in February of 2006. Throughout Russ' journey, he has traveled throughout the United States and around the world. While attending Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA), he met Dawn, a Northern Illinois native. In July of 1993, the two were married and began their journey together in music ministry. After graduating from Liberty, Russ and Dawn joined MISSION, a vocal group based out of an organization called World Help in Forest, VA. During their time with MISSION, they ministered throughout the United States and worldwide.  In their travels, they were able to visit the countries of Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Russia, Romania, Hungary, India, Mainland China and Hong Kong. They also had the opportunity to minister on T.B.N. and Daystar Networks.  Recently they have had the opportunity to visit Mexico, the Cayman Islands and Israel. Throughout their ministry together, Russ and Dawn have had the honor of sharing the platform with ministers such as Rheinhart Bonnke, Dr. Jerry Falwell, Tommy Tenney, Andre Van Zyl, Luis Palau, John Maxwell, Vicki Yohe, Judy Jacobs, Martha Munizzi and Darlene Bishop. Russ and Dawn are blessed with two children, Tyler and Kaylee.
