LifeGroups

Please visit a Community Leader in the LifeGroup Cafe' before and after services to get connected to a LifeGroup.

LifeGroups

LifeGroups are a vital part of who we are at The Crossing Church.  The LifeGroup is the best place for sustained life change to occur.  In a LifeGroup we study God's Word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life.  It's also where we pray together, care for one another and are missed when we aren't present.  Practically speaking, there is not a way for the staff or elders to personally minister to everyone who attends The Crossing Church.  That's why we place such a high premium on LifeGroups.  It's how we minister effectively at The Crossing.  LifeGroups are usually made up of 10 to 12 people who meet in someone's home for fellowship, Bible study, prayer and relationships.

Would you like to be a LifeGroup Leader or Host Home?

LifeGroup Leader:

A Crossing LifeGroup Leader is one who has purposed in their heart to use their spiritual gifts and skills to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.  They are the Shepherd of the LifeGroup who meet on a regular basis to study God's Word, worship, pray, and develop deepening friendships with others in the group.  They serve in a delegated role of influence and responsibility.

Host Home:

A host home is the location where the group meets.  The home should be a place where members may feel comfortable and relaxed.  The person/persons should have the gift of hospitality and able to make people feel at home.

If this describes you as a LifeGroup Leader or Host Home we would like you to complete aVolunteer Ministry Application and Background Check and turn it in to the Information Center in between services.

Once we get your Background Check back we will contact you about your next steps.
