Adventures In Learning was created as a community outreach ministry of The Crossing Church. Our objective is to offer families an alternative to the traditional childcare setting.  Our curriculum provides hands-on activities using educational centers to promote the development of emerging skills by exercising a combination of choice and structure.  We dedicate ourselves to providing a loving, nurturing environment where children 6 weeks to 12 years can grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Our academic program is enhanced with instruction in Christian principles, Bible stories, self-discipline, decision-making, independent thinking, and respect. The Adventures In Learning team strives daily to fulfill our mission and philosophy to create a working atmosphere that brings glory to God.

Adventures in Learning is based on a simple proven concept. Young children learn best by doing.  Each day our children engage in all kinds of fun, hands-on activities that allow them to explore, inquire and discover solutions first hand.  The classroom itself is an invaluable tool for learning. Space is divided into learning centers that are arranged to invite children to collaborate, problem solve, negotiate, make choices and mature.
