Greg Dumas, Lead Pastor

Pastor Greg Dumas' dream is to see people develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This dream has been coming to life at The Crossing Church in Tampa, Florida since March of 2005, when The Pointe Church and Crosstown Community Church merged to form one body. From 1998 until 2002, he served as Director of Adult Ministry at Bay Life Church in Brandon, FL. Bay Life then commissioned him to begin his church plant at The Pointe Church in Riverview, FL. His education includes a Bachelor of Education with a Minor in Science from the University of Missouri and a Masters of Divinity with a Church Planting Emphasis from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Greg was the first ever to graduate from Southwestern with a formal degree in Church Planting. Greg married his wife Tamara in May of 1993. They now have 3 children, Toree, Lainey, and Zeke.

Pastor Greg's personal objective is to display the life of Christ wherever he goes, along with a passion to create a relevant church environment for those who would otherwise not attend.

Tim Ingram, Campus Pastor

Tim has a passion watching people fall in love with Jesus Christ. His life in ministry began on the campus of the University of Florida where he earned his undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Upon graduating in 1995, he followed a call into Student Ministry in Ocala, Fl, a call he answered for twelve years. In Spring of 2006, he entered Asbury Theological Seminary from which he received his Masters of Theological Studies in 2008. He joined the staff at The Crossing Church in 2007 to become the Connect and Grow Pastor as well as the first Campus Pastor in training – a dream which is now being realized. Tim married his wife Christine in September of 1998. They have two children, Owen and Audrey. 

Who are we?
We are delighted that you've made the time to find out more about our church. The Celebration Campus of The Crossing Church is a satellite campus of The Crossing Church in Tampa, FL under the direction of Lead Pastor Greg Dumas. Obeying Acts 1:8, we have established this campus to advance the Kingdom of God beyond the scope of the four walls and the 6,000 weekly attendees of a church in Tampa. It's a move based on our church's heart to reach the world with the message of freedom found in Jesus Christ. Our Campus Pastor, Tim Ingram, seeks to carry the vision of the church into this region so that communities can literally be transformed by the work of Jesus.

What do we do?
Great question! We do very little so that we can be very much. We've come to understand the more busy a church gets, the less it remembers to be present with the very people Jesus came to seek and to save (Luke 19:10) You won't find hundreds of church programs and initiatives here. What you will find are communities of people living faith in real life - we call them LifeGroups. Through these communities all extensions of the church emanate such as serving, prayer, men's and women's ministry. Do you use video or live teaching?
Yes. Both. But here's the secret - because every message is based on the Word of God, whether video or live, it's alive (Hebrews 4:12). Because unity is one of our core beliefs, we make every effort to stay connected to the heart of our Lead Pastor and the vision God has given him. For this reason, you will experience video messages from Pastor Greg as well as live teaching from Pastor Tim. We allow room for the Holy Spirit to lead as to which is best each and every week. Just remember this, our church is not centered on 40 minutes of teaching each week, but on a daily walking out of the faith.
